Osteoarthritis

Many ayurvedic doctors only use Mahanarayan Oil for the massage of affected joints with osteoarthritis, but it gives substantial improvement in pain and joint flexibility when taken internally. 5 ml Mahanarayan Oil (as recommended in dosage section below) should be taken with milk 2 times a day. A week therapy with it gives relief from the joint pain and grating sensation. It lowers joint tenderness and stiffness and improves flexibility of the joints.

According to ayurveda, Vata is responsible for loss of cartilage or wear and tear of the cartilage in osteoarthritis. Symptomatic relief is observable within the first week of its internal use. Patients require knee replacement must give a try with this oil before taking a big decision.
